If you are travelling from Delhi to Port Blair, it takes 4 hours by flight. The temperature in Andaman is moderate, means it's not a too hot or too cold place. The average temperature varies between 24-32 degree celsius.

This is the view of the road in Port Blair. Road Traffic is not a problem here because the population density is very low compared to other union territory or states.

Saddle peak is the highest peak in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. This peak is not in Port Blair, But still, I added this place. It is the best trek and the altitude is 731 m. This peak is near saddle peak national park.

2. Cellular Jail


Almost every tourist visit this place in Port Blair. It is the most common, popular and spectacular place in the Andaman islands.

You will get to know about the history of this place, light show, and how this place becomes a tourist destination.

It is a perfect place if you are looking for hangout with friends, family, etc and to have some photo clicks for memories. The view from the terrace of cellular jail is amazing.

3. Chatham Saw Mill

In this destination, you will visit the Asia largest mill, which is Chatham saw mill operated by the government of Andaman. If you like wood arts, crafts and wood works, then you will pretty enjoy this place. This place is only to explore, observe, and to take some photo clicks.

4. Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex

It is another most popular place, From this sports complex you can take a boat for the north bay island and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Island (formerly this island name was Ross Island). So, visit this place and buy the tickets and take your boat.

5. Kalapani Museum

Kalapani Museum is one of the best places to visit in Port Blair If you like history. In this museum, you will see & know the history related to the Andaman and Nicobar islands, Japanese, and Britishers.

6. Samudrika Marine Museum

Naval marine museum samudrika is a good place to visit to see different types of corals and to know marine life.

7. Marina Park

Marina park is near the sea and usually crowded. You can spend the time here by playing some games with friends/family.

9. Mount Harriet National Park

Mount Harriet national park is loaded with natural beauty, peace, and greenery.
